Weekly Summary: 9/8 - 9/12

I hope that everyone had a great weekend. This week the cadets will participate in training events like Drill and Ceremony, Uniform Inspection and Physical Fitness. The PHS JROTC Instructors are very excited to continue with your education and we are looking for ways to assist cadets that need help in JROTC or with other classes. Last, the AJROTC battalion staff will continue to prepare for the JROTC Program for Accreditation (JPA).

Monday – Class – Signs of Success (LET 1) / The Need For First Aid / Your Response (LET 2)

How are Cadets recognized for their accomplishments while in JROTC? How do you assess First Aid situations?

Tuesday – Class – Study Habits (LET 1) / Controlling Bleeding (LET 2)

What study skills and test-taking strategies can Cadets learn to enhance their performance as a learner? Would you be able to save a life by providing first aid to a bleeding victim?

Wednesday – Drill and Ceremony (All)

What are stationary movements and how are they used during drill? What are squad formations and how are they formed?

Thursday – Uniform Inspection

Do cadets know how to demonstrate the proper wear of the uniform for cadet appearance?

Friday – Physical Training

How can JROTC cadets choose the right exercise program for them?

Note:

Raider Practice – Room 603 -3:40 – 5:45 daily

QUESTION:

LET 1: What are the steps for SQ3R? (Study Habits)
