Weekly Summary: Dec. 19th - 21st

I hope that everyone have a great weekend. This week the cadets will be required to learn Drill and Ceremony movements, Uniform Issue and Physical Fitness training this week. The PHS JROTC Instructors are very excited to continue with your education and we are looking for ways to assist cadets that need help in JROTC or with other classes. Last, the AJROTC battalion staff will prepare for JROTC Accreditation Program (JPA).

Listed below is the schedule for the week of Dec. 19th – 21st



Monday – Lesson Review (ALL) 


Tuesday – Final Exam (1st Block)  


Wednesday – Final Exam (2nd and 3rd Block) 


Thursday – Holiday Break

Weekly Summary: Dec. 5th-9th

I hope everyone had a great weekend. This week the cadets will receive classes in Drill and Ceremony, Physical Fitness, Cadet Challenge and prepare for their final exams. The PHS JROTC Instructors are very excited to continue with their cadet’s education and are looking for ways to assist cadets that need help in JROTC or with other classes. Last, the AJROTC battalion staff will continue to prepare for our Annual Formal Inspection (AFI). Listed below is the schedule for the week.

Monday Cadet Challenge (Selected Cadets) and Drill/Ceremony (Selected Cadets)
Essential Question – Why is cadet challenge important? What are stationary movements and how are they used during drill?

TuesdayCadet Challenge (All)
Essential Question – Why is cadet challenge important?
Competency – Cadets will meet the physical fitness standards for the Cadet Challenge. Cadets will distinguish between the Presidential Physical Fitness Award and the National Physical Fitness Award

WednesdayCadet Challenge (All)
Essential Question – Why is cadet challenge important?
Competency – Cadets will meet the physical fitness standards for the Cadet Challenge. Cadets will distinguish between the Presidential Physical Fitness Award and the National Physical Fitness Award
