Weekly Summary: April 20 – 24, 2020


I hope that everyone is doing well and staying safe. Please remember that all lessons can be viewed and submitted through Schoology because of the Coronavirus. The PHS JROTC Instructors are very excited to continue with your education and we are looking for ways to assist cadets that need help in JROTC or with other classes.

Listed below is the schedule for the week: 

Class Timelines:

Monday and Wednesday
1st – 9:00 - 11:00
3rd – 1:00 – 3:00

Tuesday and Thursday
2nd – 9:00 - 11:00
4th – 1:00 – 3:00

Cadets Lessons:

LET I – Learning Styles
              Unit / Lesson Quiz (10 questions)  
              Uniform Inspection

LET II – Small Group Meeting
                Unit / Lesson Quiz (10 questions)  
                Uniform Inspection

Friday: cadets / students should take the opportunity to independently review their progress from the previous week and to catch-up on assignments as needed.

Note: Submit all assignments in Schoology. If this is not possible, please send me an email.

Weekly Summary: Apr. 13 - 17, 2020


I hope that everyone is doing well and enjoyed their Spring Break. Unfortunately, the school doors in Georgia will be closed for the remainder of the 2019/20 school year because of the Coronavirus.

Below is some information from the Cobb County School District (CCSD) website and Dr. G. I hope that everyone has already read the information that was provided on Cobb County School District (CCSD) website and Dr. G. Please go to Cobb County School District or Pebblebrook High School website for more information if needed.

1. Cobb County School District (CCSD) school schedule will be Monday – Thursday. Each Friday will be an opportunity for students to independently review their progress from the previous week and to catch-up on assignments as needed. No new work or assignments will be presented to students on Fridays. with Friday being a make-up assignment day.

2. Ensure student grades are not negatively impacted as a result of COVID-19. No students’ grades at the end of the second semester can be lower than the grades received on Friday, March 13, 2020.

3. Give students a choice to accept their grades as of Friday, March 13, 2020 as final grades for 2019-2020 OR continue to earn grades for the remainder of the 2019-2020 school year to improve their grade(s).

4. No additional communication will be provided to stakeholders regarding the opportunity for students to accept March 13th grades as final grades. Students who decide to accept their March 13th grades as final grades must do so in writing.

 5. End of Semester grades shall reflect content delivered through May 20, 2020 or before.
