Weekly Summary: 9/1 - 9/5

I hope that everyone had a great Labor Day weekend. This week the cadets will participate in training events like Drill and Ceremony, Uniform Inspection and Physical Fitness. The PHS JROTC Instructors are very excited to continue with your education and we are looking for ways to assist cadets that need help in JROTC or with other classes. Last, the AJROTC battalion staff will continue to prepare for the JROTC Program for Accreditation (JPA).

Listed below is the schedule for the week.

Monday – Labor Day – No School

Tuesday – Past and Purpose (LET 1) and Nutrition – You Are What You Eat (LET 2)

Why is JROTC an important high school elective? How can JROTC cadets ensure they are getting the essential nutrients needed through what they eat?

Wednesday – Moving Up the Army JROTC / Rank Structure (LET 1) and Choosing the Right Exercise for You (LET 2) Why is JROTC an important high school elective?

How does the chain of command, with its span of control, facilitate the operations of a large structured organization? How can JROTC cadets choose the right exercise program for them?

Thursday – Uniform Inspection (All)

Do cadets know how to demonstrate the proper wear of the uniform for cadet appearance?

Friday – Physical Fitness (All)

How can JROTC cadets choose the right exercise program for them?
