Weekly Summary Apr. 27th – May 1st

I hope that everyone have a great weekend. This week the cadets will be required to learn Drill and Ceremony movements, Uniform Inspection and Physical Fitness training this week. The PHS JROTC Instructors are very excited to continue with your education and we are looking for ways to assist cadets that need help in JROTC or with other classes. Last, the AJROTC battalion staff will prepare for JROTC Accreditation Program (JPA).

Listed below is the schedule for the week of Apr. 27th – May 1st  


Monday – – PHS Fitness challenge (1stPeriod) / Drill and Ceremony (All)
Essential Question: How can high school students create the best fitness program for middle school students? Can cadets identify the three types of uniforms? Do cadets know the different types stationary movements?

Tuesday – PHS Fitness challenge (1st Period) / Critical Decisions about Substances (Interactive Nights Out) (All)
Essential Question – How can high school students create the best fitness program for middle school students? What should a substance abuse program do?

Wednesday – PHS Fitness challenge (1stPeriod) and Use /Effects of Drugs, Alcohol and Substances (All)
Essential Question: How can high school students create the best fitness program for middle school students? How do you say no to substances like alcohol, tobacco, and illicit drugs?

Thursday – PHS Fitness challenge (1stPeriod) and Uniform Class (ALL)
Essential Question: How can high school students create the best fitness program for middle school students? Do cadets know how to wear the Army uniform?

Friday – Physical Fitness (All)
Essential Question: Do cadets know how to choose the correct exercise program?
