Weekly Summary Nov. 30 - Dec. 04

I hope that everyone have a great fall break. This week the cadets will be required to learn Drill and Ceremony movements, Uniform Inspection and Physical Fitness training this week. The PHS JROTC Instructors are very excited to continue with your education and we are looking for ways to assist cadets that need help in JROTC or with other classes. Last, the AJROTC battalion staff will prepare for JROTC Accreditation Program (JPA).

Listed below is the schedule for the week of Nov. 30^th – Dec. 04^th  

Monday – Drill and Ceremony (ALL)

Essential Question: Can cadets identify the three types of uniforms? Do cadets know the different types stationary movements?

Tuesday – Cadet Portfolio (LET 1 / 2)

Essential Question: What is the purpose of an Assessment Quiz and Cadet Career Portfolio?

Wednesday – Making Better Citizens (Movie) (LET 1 / 2)

Essential Question: How can Army JROTC help Cadets become better students and citizens?

Thursday – Uniform Class (ALL)

Essential Question: Do cadets know how to wear the Army uniform?

Friday – Physical Fitness (ALL)

Essential Question: Do cadets know how to choose the correct exercise program?

I hope that everyone have a great weekend. Congratulations to the PHS Drill Team for an outstanding job at the Decatur HS Drill Team and Color Guard Competition this weekend. I hope everyone had a great weekend. The PHS JROTC Instructors continues to look for ways to assist cadets that need help in JROTC or with other classes. This week we will teach conduct classes, issue awards / decorations, drill and ceremony, physical training classes, and other classes listed below. Last, the AJROTC battalion staff will continue to prepare for our Annual Formal Inspection (AFI).

Tuesday – Class – Service Learning (LET 2) / Test Review (LET 1)
